The Feast of the Senses is like no other festival in Australia as it showcases the Cassowary Coast and North Queensland's amazing variety of exotic tropical fruits and produce.
Sunday 26th March is the much enjoyed Market Day extravaganza held in the Innisfail CBD, is one of the Festival's highlights, featuring around one hundred stalls all with locally sourced or grown tropical fruit, produce, plants and local handcrafts such as woodwork, lead lighting and includes a huge array of fine foods to be sampled.  Many talented singers and dancers are book in to keep us entertained for the day and there are also displays and workshops for our interest. Bring the children along as there are new and exciting activities the keep them happy and occupied.

Peter Russell-Clarke is once again the community ambassador who named the region the "Fruit Bowl of Australia" will be joining us, he always has unique ideas on how to use the tropical fruits and produce as ingredients.

The Guiness book of records Worlds Longest Banana Split attempt is scheduled for Saturday 25th March, so if you live in the area or spending the week participating in all the events programed don't forget to be part of the record attempt.
